About Tracey L. McEntyre

A 31-year Educator, Autism Mom, Advocate, and IEP Coach, I am the proud parent of an incredible son who has Autism and ADHD. My son was officially diagnosed at 2.5 years old. When we began our autism journey, I felt lost and unsure of where to start. Thankfully, I found a local organization that helped us get my son’s services. From there, I immersed myself in learning about special education law, autism, and any resources I could find, sharing what I learned with other families and beginning their journeys.

When my son entered his 5th-grade year, I discovered the importance of a well-crafted IEP and the power I had as a parent to shape it to meet his unique needs. This was a true game-changer! The more I learned, the more confident I became in advocating for my son, and I began helping other parents do the same.

At IEP Coach TX, I leverage my experience as an educator and advocate to help families navigate the complexities of the IEP process. My work includes assisting families in building rich, individualized education plans, advocating for appropriate accommodations, and providing tools like custom safety boxes to help autism families create secure environments for their children.

As a former volunteer for Autism Speaks, I became a strong voice in raising awareness and advocating for better resources for individuals on the autism spectrum.

In addition to advocating for families, I’m passionate about empowering single moms to use their unique gifts to create thriving businesses, paving the way to financial independence and personal growth.
